As its name suggests, Encore® models provide additional performance.  The Encore line has more features, better performance and longer tank warrantied tank life.  

Richmond Encore Natural Gas and LP Atmospheric Water Heaters get their name from how they vent--hot exhaust air rises.  Its self-cleaning system fights sediment build-up and its premium internal protection features combine to double the warrantied tank life.  As Richmond's premium line, it features a 12-Year tank warranty to give you long term peace of mind.  It also comes with a 2-Year In-home Labor warranty for even further peace of mind. Models are available in 38, 40, and 50-gallon capacities and are available in short ( lowboy ) and tall sizes to fit your installation needs.  

Encore Atmospheric gas water heaters are efficient and offer 12 years of tank warranty.
