Encore Powered Damper Natural Gas and LP Water Heaters get their name from an electric flue damper.  The flue damper keeps exhaust heat trapped inside the tank--giving it better performance and increased efficiency.  Better efficiency helps you save money on energy bills!  Its self-cleaning system fights sediment build-up and its premium internal protection features combine to double the warrantied tank life.  As Richmond's premium line, it features a 12-Year tank warranty to give you long term peace of mind.  It also comes with a 2-Year In-home Labor warranty for even further peace of mind. Models are available in 38, 40, and 50-gallon capacities and are available in short ( lowboy ) and tall sizes to fit your installation needs.
